Great Show
Finally, a concert that I actually attended. It was a great show when Warren was at his peak, in my view. I suspect that this is taken from FM, rather than pre-FM, but still good sound quality and a joy to hear again (I once had a cassette of the show, but it died some time ago).

Warren Making Music
A wonderful piece of music in a bottle. He makes ya laugh and cry. Are there any sing-writers left?

pre-FM?
this sounds good for 1976
but preFM?
I doubt it
either way its a high gen recording
and if it has been de-hissed
it could use a waves ultramaximizer or other waves plugins
it is 4-th or 5th generation analog recording, may be higher many cassette gens in it for sure...
but hey its warren from 1976
the pre fm from the master reels of Bonnie Raitt from 1972 on wmmr that circulates is stellar
and sounds like she is in you living room
this was my 10th b'day!
very glad to have it!
I give it 3 stars for quality
may be 4 for rarity
but I wish that some of the master reels (or 1st gen reels) would surface
thanx for Archiving it!

Awesome!
Another awesome 1976 radio recording. This is the only on with the back up of a band! GET ALL the '76 radio shows!
Thank you for saving this one for us! The best Zevon period in my opinion...

Remastery
This is a terrific show. The band is great, especially on Join Me in LA. The sound is detailed very well in the notes. Whoever did the remaster put in a labor of love. Don't be dissuaded by the hiss at the beginning: either the ears get used to it, or its level diminishes a bit, or both. And while one section of the banter is really hard to hear, the music sounds amazingly good. I can't give it five stars with that sound (too much rating inflation around here), but overall this is good enough to try on novices and a must-have for any Zevon lover.
